“What if there isn’t anything actually wrong with you?”

That persistent sense that something is off, that you’re bad or broken is not a personal defect. It’s information. And doing more isn’t going to fix it.

Our nervous system is programed for attachment, and when we constantly abandon our own authenticity to adapt to the environments we find ourselves in, this shapes us in profound ways. If we don’t have the language or space to explore this, the experience gets reflected inward as “something must be wrong with me”.

I feel this is only natural. It’s a very human experience to explore and attempt to understand an internal state that is looping or feels incomplete. Maybe it’s the relationship you have with your body. Or it shows up as an inability to rest and intense guilt when you slow down. Lack of motivation, or a need to control every aspect because let’s be honest you know what’s best.

My approach does not dismiss these very honest experiences.
Together we honor all of it.

My offerings are an experiential, nervous-system-informed approach to exploring what feels off with curiosity, care and a little profanity.

“ok, but who am I?”

  • I introduce myself as Coco but a lot of people call me Courtney.
I am fascinated with the body in all forms, physically, emotionally and soulfully.
My offerings include somatic therapy, movement + meditation for curious humans. I enjoy intellectually stimulating conversations and love when someone “can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.” (If you know what movie this is from we are going to get along just fine).
    I swear … sometimes.

  • Life BABY. Every single experience shapes how I show up. Personally ya girl been through some thangs, decent amount of developmental trauma that has trained my nervous system in a way that no depth of cognitive understanding ever could. This combined with my formal education + training with Somatic Experiencing, Compassionate Inquiry, Eat Breath Thrive, and Kevala Yoga.
